Other previously held positions include: President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Centre for Genome Resources (NCGR); President Clinton’s Assistant Secretary of Defence for Health Affairs; New York City Commissioner of Health; Dean of the School of Public Health and Professor of Public Health and Paediatrics a the University of Minnesota; Special Coordinator for Child Health and Survival for UNICEF.
