Mr Scott Griffin
Mr Scott Griffin, Canadian, is Chairman and major shareholder of two manufacturing companies – General Kinetics Engineering Corporation, designing and manufacturing parts for tracked vehicles and high speed rail, and Advance Precision Limited, supplying parts to the automotive industry – and a literary publishing firm, The House of Anansi Press Inc.
He is the Director and Volunteer Advisor of Canadian Executive Services Overseas (CESO), Chancellor Bishop’s University, Chairman of the Governors, Sedbergh School, Director DGC Entertainment Ventures Corporation and Chairman and Founder of The Griffin Trust for Excellence In Poetry; one of the largest annual literary awards for poetry published in English.
Mr Griffin holds a BA, Major English and Philosophy and is fondly remmebered In Kenya for his assignment in helping re-organise the AMREF Flying Doctors Service for East Africa, based in Nairobi.
