AMREF has been training health and health-related professionals through-out Africa for over 40 years. The Diploma in Community Health course is accredited to Moi University in Kenya and seeks to empower health and health-related professionals to become change agents in Africa. The course in offered in 12 modules and students can take a module at a time.

Entry Requirements
- Minimum education background of a certificate or diploma in a health or health related area.Examples of those eligible are: Clinical Officers, Registered Nurses, Public Health Officers, Medical Social Workers, Nutritionists, etc
- Preferably one (1) year relevant working experience
- Some computer skills
- Competence in both written and spoken English

- Non refundable application fee of USD 20
Tuition Fee: USD 2,400
The eLearning option and examinations will be held at three (3) centres: Dar es Salaam, Mwanza and Iringa
The course is also offered fulltime (11 months) at the AMREF International Training Centre in Nairobi at USD 7,400
