AMREF is showcasing its work at the 21st African Union Summit which runs from 19-27 May in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The year marks the 50th Anniversary celebrations of the OAU-AU. We’re proud to have this opportunity as the only health organisation exhibiting during this summit. Our exhibition focuses on our activities across Africa in particular on the Stand Up for African Mothers campaign which aims to train 15,000 midwives and contribute towards reduction of maternal mortality in Africa. We believe that people in Africa can make the difference and are calling upon every African to contribute US$1 dollar towards the training of a midwife and save the life of our precious mothers. Join us at our booth at the AU headquarters exhibition area and learn more about our campaign and how you can make the difference.
