The African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF) is an international health development organization solutions for lasting health change in Africa. AMREF works with communities to empower them to build the knowledge, skills and means to transform their own health. With its Headquarters in Nairobi, AMREF has offices in Ethiopia, Kenya, Senegal, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda. AMREF Headquarters is seeking to pre-qualify suppliers who can meet its unique requirements for the year 2013-2015.

Pre-qualification/Registration of suppliers’ documents can be obtained from AMREF International Training Centre & Headquarters along Langata Road opposite Wilson Airport during working hours i.e. (9.00am-12.30pm) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs.3000, for Category A to D and Kshs. 4000 for Category E. Pre-qualification documents must be received by the Tender Committee at the address specified here below not later than 30th April 2013. Tenders will be opened on 2nd May 2013 at 10:00am and bidders or their representatives who choose to witness are welcome to do so in our Auditorium.

Completed pre-qualification documents in plain sealed envelopes indicating the title of the tender, tender number & category should be placed in separate envelopes & clearly marked as below (please note, each category should be submitted in a separate envelope)

Existing suppliers and service providers who wish to remain in the pre-qualified list MUST re-apply and submit information requested in the current pre-qualification document.

AMREF reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications and is not bound to give reasons for its decision. Canvassing in any form shall lead to automatic disqualification of the bidder.
