Purpose of the Job
To provide technical/operations support to the ADAM Consortium with respect to the M & E project activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:-
- Working with the project staff in disseminating and distributing project documents.
- Supporting trainings/follow-ups.
- Drafting, reviewing and editing reports and other documents as requested.
- Communicating with project staff and partners, including establishing and updating partners contact database and information.
- Dispatch and receipt of project documents, maintaining an effective filing system and asset inventory, stationery and daily correspondence,
- Participating in planning of project workshops and meetings including documentation of workshop/ meeting proceedings.
- Implementing a data management system that ensures security and confidentiality of all data and information generated by the project.
- Representing the project in selected meetings and task forces and reporting back to the project.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the project.
Qualifications and Competencies
The ideal candidate should have a first degree in Social Sciences or its equivalent. At least three (3) years work experience in a busy NGO. The person must be experienced in capacity building and in monitoring and evaluation.
Excellent ICT skills, including statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA and EPI Info are essential. In addition, the candidate must have strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and supervisory skills. S/he should also possess remarkable interpersonal, administrative, communication and networking skills. Furthermore, the candidate must be a team player who is honest, able to maintain confidentiality, is of impeccable integrity and able to work with minimal supervision.
