Main Objective


The general objective of the course is to develop relevant competencies of health and development workers in community-based health and development approaches that are relevant and appropriate to the needs of the community. 

Expected Results

On completion of this course, the participants will be expected to be able to:

  1. Plan and manage community-based health and development programs using a participatory approach;
  2. Plan and implement training programs utilizing the adult learning approach;
  3. Design, facilitate, and evaluate effectiveness of training programs/activities at institutional and community levels;
  4. Apply the skills learned for institutional assessment, analysis, and formulation of measures intended to enhance institutional effectiveness.
